Starting October Right

Halloween month is here and what better way to start it off than with a trip to the beach!!

What’s that you say? The beach is for summer??!! No, no, no! The beach is for every season and any time!!

It’s important to set the right tone for the month by going absolutely bonkers at the beach. Dig everywhere. Dig like you mean business. Dig until your ears fly up and spit flys out of your mouth. Dig with passion.

When you run out of energy for digging, be sure to hide your tennis ball somewhere obvious but pretend you have no idea where it is. Driftwood is a great hiding place and a great chewing opportunity. Mummy and daddy fall for this every time, encouraging me with increasing volumes and excitement to “find it!”. I know where it is – I put it there!

And finally, when you’re too tired for digging or hide-and-seek, go for a swim. Chase tennis balls in the surf.

Swim. Fetch. Repeat.

The cool, fresh sea water will lift your spirits, cool you off and leave you ready for….yes, you guessed it….more DIGGING!!
