Well, we made it to the top of Ring Mountain just in time to watch the sun set on the first day of the new year. 
Daddy and I stood in the orange glow, wondering what the new year might bring. 
Then is sat on my own with my dog thoughts. It was so peaceful basking in the suns last rays, contemplating the world around me. 
And slowly the sun set on the first day of the new year. Let’s hope it’s a good one, Daddy!
