So who looks after Milo when mummy and daddy are busy or at work? My best friends Leigh and Claudia! They are part of my pack and are wonderful. They like to call me Smilo or Chocolate Mousse. I like to call them My Best Friends – they spoils me and makes sure I always have water and Milk Bones after my walks. Food. My world revolves around it much like mummy and daddy’s world revolves around me. Here’s a list of my favourite foods. Apart from whatever is on mummy and daddy’s plate, that is….

Best Kibble Ever! Wellness Core Dry. It’s grain-free so I don’t get and upset tummy or itchy hot spots on my sensitive skin. Preferably the Ocean flavor that has all the yummy fish!

Dental Treats What’s better than treats? Treats that are good for you! I’ve had a large Greenie every morning after breakfast since I was a puppy and my dentist says my teeth are in excellent shape!

Culture

I always enjoy a good book, especially if it is about dogs and their amazing adventures. My latest recommendation is this amazing story of Arthur, a stray dog who joins a team of adventurous humans as they take part in an endurance race through the mountains and jungle of South America. The story is about how the athletes rescue Arthur but I think it’s really about how Arthur coaches the team to a successful finish. They cross the finish line together as true friends and the athletes decide to take Arthur home to Sweden where he now shows them how to run, snow-shoe and master other Nordic sports!! 🐾

I also highly recommend the beautiful books written by newspaper journalist Tom Ryan about his two miniature schnauzers, Atticus and Will. Mummy loved the first book, “Following Atticus” and she says she isn’t sure if Tom rescued Atticus or Atticus rescued Tom! The next book about Will, who Tom rescued after he was surrendered to a shelter because his elderly humans could no longer care for him, is coming out soon and both Mummy and I are very excited about it!! UPDATE: Sadly Atticus and Will have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, however the good news is that Tom rescued another dog, Samwise, and together they are enjoying the most wonderful road trip.
