New Year, New Goals

It’s another new year, Milo fans, and it’s beginning with so much promise. What a beautiful morning it is down at Rodeo Beach Lagoon. The sunrise is shrouded in mist and it has left dew drops all over the grass, making it smell amazing! I just can’t stop smelling it…so fresh and earthy. I could have stayed here all morning but Daddy wanted to go for a stroll around the lagoon, so off we go.

Luckily, Daddy was indeed strolling and at that pace, I was able to continue sniffing the grass as I walked along. Even though I was multi-tasking, I was still able to stay ahead of Daddy.

I got a little too distracted with the sniffing and all of a sudden Daddy had overtaken me! Wait, Daddy!!

Daddy likes to incorporate a work-out into almost every activity we do. On this occasion, it meant going up the steps instead of down them. Look at me trying to keep pace with Daddy. I’m even following exactly in his foot steps. Right paws forward, Daddy!

Now we’re heading down the hill to the beach. It’s so beautiful up here and I can see the whole lagoon and the beach and the sand and the houses and if I stare carefully, I can even see my car!

Oh wait!! Here’s another great earthy smell!! The new dawn certainly brings lots of new smells.
